Located in the public square of the Duomo, the medieval "Palace Maria" of Cefalu was probably constructed during the time of King Ruggero II in 1139. The City of Cefalu is internationally renowned and attracts tourists from all over the world. In addition to the famous Duomo and many other historic buildings, Cefalu has a fine sandy beach, with a wonderful reef bathed in limpid waters. Just a few minutes walk from the sea, the Palace Maria has been totally renovated to the highest standards.
